TVS Racing International Championship Makes European Debut at Italy’s Misano World Circuit

TVS Motor Company has taken its TVS Racing International Championship (TRIC) to Europe for the first time, with the 2026 championship making its European debut at the Misano World Circuit in Italy from October 2–4, 2026.

The Italy round brought together 14 racers representing 12 nationalities across four continents, competing on the race-spec TVS Apache RR 310. The move marks an expansion of TRIC beyond its established Asian racing markets and underlines TVS Motor’s growing global motorsport ambitions.

Since its introduction, TRIC has been held across Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia, covering five rounds in four countries. The addition of Italy gives the championship its first European venue and brings riders from different racing backgrounds onto the same grid.

According to TVS Motor, the championship has evolved from an Asia-focused racing platform into a global competition, with riders from 16 countries participating over its journey.

“The European debut of the TVS Racing International Championship is a defining milestone in our global racing journey,” said Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company. “Taking an Indian-origin championship to Europe reflects the strength of our racing pedigree, engineering and our ambition to compete on the world stage.”

The race-spec Apache RR 310 used in TRIC is developed specifically for competition, featuring an enhanced aerodynamic package, increased power and revised riding dynamics.

The machine previously recorded a top speed of 215.9 km/h and a lap time of 1:49.74 at Thailand’s Chang International Circuit in 2023. In 2024, it reached 216 km/h and improved the circuit lap record to 1:48.44.

The international expansion of TRIC also comes as TVS continues to grow its Apache brand globally. The Apache series has now crossed seven million customers worldwide, while the Apache Owners Group has more than 500,000 members.

The 2026 TRIC field in Italy featured riders from Malaysia, India, Spain, Colombia, South Africa, Portugal, Thailand, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Mexico, Italy and Korea.
